New game: “Because you are part of their memory and you are going to disappear”

I have a new game out! It’s a tiny one, made for Neo-twiny Jam 2026, which requires all entries to be 500 words or fewer. My game, which clocked in at 499 words, is basically a television inspired by Kentucky Route Zero and the music of Belbury Poly. It’s a companion to “I am inventing all this and it is about to disappear, but it does not.” Thanks, as always, to  manonamora, Autumn Chen, and Lapin Lunaire Games for organizing!

There were 65 entries in this year’s jam–quite a bit fewer than in years past, not sure why. Some of my favorites were Walkies by bzedan and Bugseeker by Games from the Lightside. Both used the word limit to show how very small observations can suggest an expansive world. Other highlights were inside you there are two wolves by Stewart C Baker, a compact horror game that takes place in a texting interface; and Brain surgery by q1, a strange and vivid game about diy surgery. Not for the squeamish.
